I love the second photo, with the tongue sticking out. They are an adorable group. I hope however many still are to come do so easily. There’s no question they’ll be just as cute.
Yeah I like that one too. π We have 4 mamas yet to kid. One looks like she’s due very soon, one may not be pregnant and the other two look like they’re a couple of weeks away. But they fool you sometimes.
Bill, I haven’t heard you talk about any problems with birthing like in the Spring. Fall must be a better goat birthing time. They all look very healthy and full of vim and vigor.
There are always issues, but that’s just part of the process. We lost a mother in the last cycle, but haven’t had any problems like that this fall. It’s a good looking bunch of kids. π
Too much adorableness! I can hardly stand it. Thanks for sharing! Sure made me on smile on a Monday morning when I woke up to find a dusting of snow in the yard.
No snow here, but there was some ice in the water troughs this morning. We’ll go below freezing again tonight then things are supposed to warm back up again.
I love just how amazingly soft their tiny little hooves are (happy memories, thank you: )
@ Laurie Graves, re “dusting”: Still no frost in the ground, but it started here off and on all day yesterday, Laurie. (We’ve been truly spoiled rotten by “Fall” so far this year, haven’t we?; )
Dearest Bill,
Lovely photos and so picture perfect also for showing the Happiness for Thanksgiving!
That is one of the many bonuses one can reap from living at a farm. Nature provides so many miracles, like the birth of those super cute goats. ENJOY!
Hugs,
Mariette
