Bill, another good quote for morning thought. The doors of life can be exciting or sad. Some we walk through by choice and some we are shoved through by life events out of our control. Attitude has much to do with how we survive the exit from one side of the door and entrance to what’s on the other side of the door. Most times we really can’t see much of what’s on the other side of the door until we walk through it. I’m reminded of you and Cherie’s example of exiting one life and entering another. It’s a great example for this quote. I’m not one to choose such drastic changes in life so mine came from outside of my control life events. My attitude has always been not to fret about the things that happen in life but to make the best of what happened and move on. Unfortunately, it comes across as not caring which could not be farther from the truth.
May all your exit doors in life enter you into a higher level of excitement and successful challenges. Have a great door opening day.
Well said as usual Dave. I like the idea of seeing “exits” as “entrances.” I used to have a lot of anxiety about the threats of exits, but not so much anymore. There are plenty of different ways to express this thought. Another is “When one door closes another opens.”
