The real things haven’t changed.  It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and to have courage when things go wrong.

Timely words from my first “favorite author”. I had other favorite books at the time, but thanks to my fourth grade teacher, who read the “Little House” series to us aloud, Wilder has stayed with me.

Bill, I just had the discussion about truth and honesty with my grandson. We both came to the conclusion that if for real pants would catch on fire when a lie was told there would be allot folks with fiery pants. 🙂

Have a great day of truth and honesty.
