Father’s Day in the Pasture

Saturday afternoon Wendy delivered these cute triplets–all female.

Esmeralda looks to be due any time now.

Here’s Johnny, father of 204, enjoying Father’s Day.

Those are some way cool horns on Johnny. I know you’ve shown him before. I guess I just missed seeing them (how could I?)

Triplets! I had no idea such was possible. Wendy seems to have just a bit of a “Where did these come from? And what do I do with them?” look on her face. Maybe it’s just relief!

He’s an impressive looking buck, but as mellow as any goat we have.

Twins are the norm, but singles and triples are not uncommon. This is Wendy’s third set of triplets (but to the best of my knowledge the first time we’ve ever had triplet females). She’s a good mama. She just was a little skittish having me around so sound after they were born.
