Wednesday I harvested the last of the sweet potatoes. I also picked and cooked a big pot of collard greens. I also cut 5 large heads of broccoli, which Cherie is using to make broccoli salad.
Even as we near December, our gardens continue to reward us.
Right now we still have spinach, chard, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, collards, turnip greens and more. If this winter is as mild as last years we may continue to have fresh goodness from the garden all year. I’m hoping so.
But if it should all end tomorrow, we’ve had a great year.
