I spent the morning tying the tomatoes. So far I’m very pleased with the Florida weave method we’re using now. We should have an explosion of tomatoes very soon. I’m just hoping everything is patient while we’re at the Wild Goose festival.
Our goats are living the good life right now. The crimson and Ladino clover is knee high.
Our young hens have started laying. I got our first tiny pullet egg yesterday. And this morning I discovered this. Evidently one of the girls hasn’t figured out what the nesting boxes are for.
And in the race to be the first summer vegetable in on the farm this year, the surpise winner is the Japanese eggplant.
