In 1910 there were 3 million African Christians. In 2010 there are 350 million.
Experts say that by the middle of this century Africa will have more Christians than any other continent. Asia will be second, principally because of the explosive growth of Christianity in China.
Even as Christianity seems to be fading away in Europe and North America, it is being revitalized elsewhere.
And now, reversing the roles of the past century, African missionaries are bringing the faith to old Christendom. The largest Christian congregation in Europe is a church started by a Nigerian missionary in Kiev just six years ago.
History is dynamic.
