A Good Day

Yesterday began with a frozen morning.

It was a good day to cut and haul wood.

Ann Marie was born last Sunday.  She’s the latest addition to the farm.

    The babies are darling – and as quick as children to figure out the treat routine!

    You photo of the wood reminded me of this wonderful post about wood-cutting in Montana posted by a blog friend who lives there. Note the fellow working the log delivery truck at age 84! I printed out that photo and tacked it on my refrigerator. I takes my inspiration where I can find it.

      Thanks for sharing that. I’ll bet he can remember when he had to pull those logs out with draft horses. How wonderful that he still has meaningful work that he enjoys. And what a great blog. Thanks for making me aware of it.
