Yesterday evening our Grace and Main group threw a surprise pizza party for some of our downtown friends at their apartment building. Actually all we did is show up with some pizzas, soft drinks and a folding table. But it was a big hit and everyone seemed glad to see us. And it was great to hang out with friends on a beautiful late afternoon.

We also used our get-together as a chance to do some last minute planning for our Jubilee in the Park event that’s happening tomorrow at a park downtown. Things are coming together and we’re hoping to help bring some joy to a lot of people, ourselves included.
